Although it’s busy season, even wedding photographers need a break. Last week I headed to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park in Maine for a short vacation. Much of the time was spent rock climbing, hiking, exploring, and eating (steamers and lobster are a favorite of mine).

I had some time off this spring before wedding season started in April, so I took a road trip to the Southwest. I spent time hiking/climbing/photographing in Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Here is one of my favorite photography stops, it’s Horseshoe Bend (Colorado River) outside of Page, AZ.

If you find yourself driving through North Conway (NH), you can stop and view some of my landscape work at the White Mountain Artisans Gallery. Currently on display are prints of Tuckerman Ravine, Huntington Ravine, Mount Washington summit, and a panoramic print from Jackson, NH. It’s a bit north of town on the left and is conveniently located next to the tasty Artisan Sausage of New Hamspshire. There is also a wine and cheese shop coming soon.

I’m really busy with weddings right now, but I always jump at the chance to work on my landscape photography when I can. This was taken the other night from my deck, a gorgeous night. This is the moon setting over Stairs Mountain near Jackson, NH.
