Photography Style
One of the most important aspects of choosing a photographer is identifying with their approach to wedding photography. I prefer to let the events of the wedding day unfold naturally versus directing the bride and groom. Your wedding will receive complete coverage as I'll constantly be looking for real moments to photograph. This approach to wedding photography doesn't mean a lack of formal portraits: a selection of bride/groom, bridal party, and family/friend portraits are always part of my wedding photography coverage. The best way to learn more about my photography style is to view recent weddings (email/call for links and passwords), view some testimonials, and get in touch to discuss your wedding details.
In addition to an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography, my goal is to document your wedding day with several principles in mind:
- provide great customer service before, during, and after the wedding
- photograph and interact in a professional and friendly manner
- deliver artistic and high quality photos
Photographer(s)
I will be the photographer at your wedding and I only schedule one wedding per day so you'll get my full attention. I often work with a second photographer who will both assist me and provide additional coverage. I would recommend this option for most weddings, although I'm available as a solo photographer for select weddings (depends on time frame, # of guests, and wedding locations). As a photographer looking to document your entire wedding day, I prefer to photograph for an extended period of time from getting ready through the reception.
Pricing
It would be helpful to discuss your wedding photography needs in depth so I can customize a quote for you. Pricing starts at approximately $3000, which includes full day photography coverage, online gallery, digital files, and more. I specialize in full day photography coverage, but feel free to get in touch for a quote if you are planning a shorter and/or smaller wedding. Please contact me for complete information.
Engagement Sessions
I offer engagment sessions as an option, these are done in a casual portrait style on location (not in a studio) and are a great way to get to know each other before the wedding.
Equipment and Printing
I only use professional digital photography equipment and carry multiple backups of every piece of camera gear that is brought to your wedding. All printing is done on professional grade paper. Many options are available including matte or glossy finish, a variety of borders (white or colored or artistic), and different color and B&W tones.
Discs
The digital files of your wedding photos are always included on disc (DVD) for personal printing and archiving.
Delivery Time and Shipping
Wedding photos will be ready for online viewing in approximately 3 weeks and I will ship included discs and prints within a week after that. I often strive for even quicker delivery times. The shipping of discs and prints in the original coverage is included. I usually use USPS Priority, but other options are available.
Albums
A variety of wedding albums are available. Please contact me for more information as the options are numerous and we can narrow down choices based on your preferences.
Travel
I enjoy traveling and am available to cover weddings throughout the Northeast, United States, and beyond. Travel costs are generally not added for weddings within a reasonable distance from my home in Jackson, NH 03846. I'll let you know if travel charges apply when receiving the details (locations and times) of your wedding.
Payment Terms
A non refundable retainer of $500 is required to reserve your wedding date. The remaining payment is due one month before the wedding date. Checks, credit cards, and PayPal are accepted.
Booking
I would recommend viewing my website in depth for information. The best way to initially contact me is by email, but feel free to call anytime as well. I can send you sample material and printed information. We can also set up a time to talk on the phone or meet in person. Booking is on a first come/first serve basis and unfortunately I cannot verbally hold dates. A signed agreement and retainer will reserve your date.
